Dubai has its own way of welcoming VIPs.
On Monday, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and CEO of social networking site Twitter, just had a personalized entry stamp on his passport.
He took to Twitter his appreciation of the gesture extended to him by posting a photo of the stamp.
In the photo, the Dubai entry stamp had a special welcome sticker on it. It has the iconic Twitter logo bird next to the Dubai skyline.
In his caption, he wrote, “Marhaba Dubai.”
Dorsey landed in Dubai on Monday. This was his first visit to the Middle East and the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai welcomed Dorsey in a tweet, saying that the CEO is ‘a leader of positive change’.
