President Rodrigo said he will send his critics to jail should they file an impeachment case against him.
“I-impeach ako? Kulungin ko silang lahat. Subukan niyo. Try to take it, do it, and I will do it,” Duterte said in an interview in Malacanang.
Critics of the President said that the he maybe violating the constitution by allowing Chinese fishermen to fish in the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio said that allowing foreigners in EEZ is unconstitutional.
Duterte said that the Philippines cannot go to war and what happened in the West Philippine Sea should not result to bloody confrontation.
