A newly graduated college student marked his new milestone in life with a personalized tombstone.
Mac Andre Arboleda, a Development of BS Development Communication in the University of the Philippines Los Baños, received this gift from his parents.
The tombstone, he said in his Facebook post, is to honor the achievement of finally being done with burning the midnight oil.
“My parents’ grad gift: a remembrance,” he posted on Facebook with more than 400 likes and 1k shares as of Tuesday.
He said the tombstone is “something material to sum up my 8 looong weird years in college.”
He himself requested it from his parents instead of the usual tarpaulin and cash.
He said he can use his tombstone as a laptop base.
