The head of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) will undergo a lifestyle check, GMA News reported.
PIA Director General Harold Clavite submitted a copy of his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) and a bank account waiver as part of the investigation, Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner Greco Belgica said.
Clavite is the subject of an investigation over allegations of splitting contracts, misusing funds for hotel accommodations, and irregularities in the production of information materials.
Clavite has denied the allegations, which he said are committed by people who want to discredit him, were raised at a time he started checking alleged PIA irregularities.
