As part of the celebration of Day of the Filipino Seafarers, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) is offering free rides.
Seafarers just have to present their Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB) or MARINA ID to the ticket seller or Security Personnel at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT -2) stations.
The schedule for the free MRT-3 ride is from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. while the schedule for the LRT-2 is from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
