Filipino nurses in Dubai holds caregiver training for distressed OFWs

Nurses in Dubai recently conducted a caregiver training session to distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) under the care of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), an office headed by Labor Attaché Fely Bay.

The training is being held every other month.

This was the seventh batch to undergo the training. PNA-DNE said some 284 distressed OFWs have undergone the training in a year’s time from June 2018 to June 2019.

In addition, PNA-DNE is also involved in numerous medical missions, among them a partnership with FNAE, in connection with review sessions for nursing graduates in the Philippines who are in the UAE and preparing for their Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE).
