Justice has been served for a 23-year-old woman who was kidnapped and raped by her employer in the UAE.

This, after her 43-year-old employer was sentenced by the Ajman Criminal Court for three years imprisonment.

The sentence will be followed by deportation for kidnapping and raping the victim who applied as his secretary, reported in Khaleej Times.

In her statement to the public prosecution, the 23-year-old victim said that she applied for secretary while she was in her home country after learning about the job opening in UAE from someone.

Tempted with the very attractive salary package, the victim then agreed to send her personal information together with her picture and a copy of her passport to the accused.

The UAE expat then managed to get the victim a residency visa as secretary as well as an air ticket to the UAE.

Upon reaching the country, the victim said that the accused expat personally picked her up from the airport and took her to Ajman.

Based on police records, the victim stayed in an apartment with the expat and after three days she was forced to drink a juice that had alcohol in it.

Police record further stated that the accused raped her after she passed out.

The victim was able to escape the apartment and reported the incident at the nearest police station.
