At least 9 high school students suffered minor injuries after a newly-built covered court collapsed at the Sinubong National High School in Zamboanga City on Monday morning.
The covered court was used as a temporary classroom. It was turned over to the school last year.
According to reports, the Grade 9 students were in the middle of a class activity when the roof caved in after several days of intermittent rains, said some teachers.
The victims were rushed to the Labuan Public Hospital.
