Dependents of tourists, aged 18 years old and below, will be free from paying UAE tourist visa fees from July 15 to September 15, announced by the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship.
This, as the country targets to boost the number of tourist arrivals during off peak season, reported Khaleej Times.
The UAE Cabinet has approved the visa exemption last year and it is set to take effect this year.
An express tourist visa for 14 days costs Dh497 per person. A 30-day multi-entry tourist visa costs is available for Dh917 online.
One-year residency extension will also be given to UAE expats’ children who have completed their secondary or university education and are above 18 years of age.
