Abu Dhabi Police seized 423 kilograms of heroin and crystal drugs hidden in vehicle spare parts.
In its Operation “Painful strike”, which is considered as one of the biggest drug hauls in the country, a gang of 12 people fell in the hands of the authorities.
The police caught up with the suspects who were possessing the massive quantity of drugs and 500,000 tablets of “Captagon”.
Colonel Taher Gharib Al-Dhahiri, Director of the Directorate of Drug Enforcement in the Criminal Security Sector, said that the operations had a significant impact on the fall of the drug ring that targets the youth in the UAE.
