A 6-year-old Asian died in a bus in Al-Qouz
A tweet from the Dubai Police reported that after all the children had left, doors were closed and the victim had been forgotten in the bus that led to his death.
Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities expressed sincere condolences to the family of the victim who died in a bus that belonged to one of the Quran Memorization Centers.
In a statement following the incident, the department confirmed its responsibility for the supervision of some Islamic institutions and memorization centers run by good people, whether local citizens or residents.
The department added: “As the responsibility lies with these centers, the Department is following up on the incident, waiting until the authorities investigate with the management of the center to look into the circumstances.”
