President Rodrigo Duterte and his family didn’t miss the opportunity to take a shopping trip in Tokyo.
While in Japan for Duterte’s a four-day working visit, the first family has visited gadget and clothes store in the city. They visited clothing store Uniqlo and an Apple store.
Duterte is with his common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña and daughter Kitty.
“Gusto niya sana na bilhan ng cell phone. Namimili si Pangulo ng damit dahil ito lang ang pagkakataon niya na makaikot man lang,” Senator-elect Bong Go said in an interview.
Duterte was also reportedly looking for a laptop that he use for work and watch.
The President is in Japan to attend Nikkei’s 25th International Conference on the Future of Asia.
He is also set to have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
This is the President’s third time in Tokyo.
