Trillanes confirms meeting Peter Advincula a.k.a ‘Bikoy’

Manila, Philippines– Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV has revealed he had met Peter Joemel Advincula, the man claiming to be ‘Bikoy’, but stressed that he didn’t pay any attention to any of his claims.

In a Senate speech, Monday, Trillanes said Advincula did not pass the vetting process for witnesses.

The senator also recalled how the said priests went back to him and showed him documents containing bank accounts of the alleged syndicate with which Bikoy was allegedly a part of.

The soldier-turned-lawmaker also said he’s no longer surprised that Advicunla suddenly changed his tune and tagged him and other Liberal Party members in an alleged ouster plot against President Rodrigo Duterte.

Trillanes also said he was out of the country when the videos “Ang Totoong Narcolist” came out. Senate records will prove that he is not in the country he said.

The senator even said that he discouraged his fellow lawmakers to hold an inquiry on Advincula’s claims not until he was able to show more proof to back it up.
