PMA Valedictorian receives house and lot from Pres. Duterte

Baguio City, Philippines– President Rodrigo Duterte personally hands over a house and lot certificate title to Philippine Military Academy Mabalasik Class Valedictorian Dionne Mea Apolog Umalla, Sunday.

Umalla, who hails from Ilocos Sur, shared during the graduation rites on how she wanted to be a doctor but granted her mother’s request for her to become a teacher.

Umalla received the house and lot title when the President attended the graduation rites in Baguio City.

She also received the Presidential Saber award along with 13 other awards.

It has been a tradition for Class Valedictorians of the PMA and Philippine National Police Academy to receive house and lot gifts from the President.

Four more women also landed in PMA’s Top 10 graduates. 261 members of Class Mabalasik graduated this year.
