Pacquiao’s brother wins OFW party-list seat

Manila, Philippines— The brother of Senator and Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao managed to secure a seat at the House of Representatives through the party-list system.

Alberto ‘Bobby’ Pacquiao, an incumbent councilor in General Santos, ran for the OFW Family Club party-list in the midterm polls.

OFW Family Club is supported by Sen. Pacquiao along with other party-lists Wow Pilipinas, 1PacMan, and People’s Champ Movement.

The party-list group was under the leadership of the late Rep.

Pacquiao said in a Facebook post.

The former boxer turned politician said Overseas Filipino Workers, (OFWs) will now have a representative in the Lower House, who will fight for their rights.

Pacquiao said.

OFW Family Club won one seat in the party-list race.
