PARTIAL, UNOFFICIAL: Villar, Poe keep lead; tight race for last spot still on

Senatorial candidates Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe are still holding on to the top two spots, according to the partial and unofficial results released by the Commission on Elections.

On the other hand, reelectionist Senators Nancy Binay, JV Ejercito, and Paulo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV are in neck and neck race for the last seat in the Philippine Senate.

According to COMELEC, 96.30% of the total ERs have been processed. Out of the 63,662,481 registered voters, 46,081,458 votes have been counted, as of 11:27 AM (PH time) on Wednesday.

The current ranking in the senatorial race is as follows:

2. POE, Grace – 21,589,821
3. GO, Bong – 20,055,437
4. CAYETANO, Pia – 19,316,505
5. DELA ROSA, Bato – 18,433,550
6. ANGARA, Sonny – 17,763,199

8. MARCOS, Imee – 15,500,445
9. TOLENTINO, Francis – 15,084,396
10. REVILLA, Bong – 14,285,517
11. PIMENTEL, Koko – 14,277,974
