WATCH: Olympic medalist Hidilyn Diaz slams inclusion in Panelo matrix

Athlete and Olympics medalist Hidilyn Diaz on Thursday released a statement after she got accused of having an involvement in a plot to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.

Diaz posted a video on Facebook to criticize her involvement in the supposed conspiracy saying that she is too busy preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics to be part of any ouster plot against the President.

“Ha? Anong matrix? Ano ‘yun?

“Ako as an athlete, sobrang busy po ako.

To recall, Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo earlier released a new matrix containing the names of personalities alleged ouster plot against the President, saying the information came from Duterte himself.

Aside from Diaz, other personalities who were included in the matrix were Otso Diretso senatorial bets Bam Aquino, Gary Alejano, Florin Hilbay, Mar Roxas, opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, and former president Benigno Aquino III’s spokesman Edwin Lacierda.

Also involved were communist leader Jose Maria Sison and television host Gretchen Ho.

Many of the people mentioned also criticized the matrix saying that it only intends to defame the reputations of the alleged destabilization plotters “without really going through validation process.”
