LIST: Cebu Pacific cancels flights

TWENTY-four flights were cancelled by budget carrier Cebu Pacific starting yesterday til tomorrow due to “unprecedented” level of disruption in their operation for the past several days.

Cebu Pacific corporate communications director Charo Logarta Lagamon told Rappler that two planes were damaged during bird strike incidents and that there were also planes that had “technical concerns.”

These cause “domino effect,” she said, leading to passengers experiencing “extended delays” and even cancellations.

“Efforts have been made to minimize the disruption to our passengers in the past week. However, we realize that current operating conditions, particularly in our Manila hub, necessitate a temporary reduction of flights,” the airline said in a separate advisory.
