After two major earthquakes over the last couple of days, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that it has detected three more “mild” tectonic earthquakes Siargao Island and Agusan del Sur early Wednesday morning.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said a 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 4:04 a.m., April 24.
The epicenter, which had a depth of 12 km, was plotted 55 kilometers (km) southeast of General Luna town, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte province, it said.
The agency said there were no reported damage or injury from the latest quakes
Earlier, a 2.5 magnitude earthquake was also registered at 12:02 a.m. also on April 24.
The epicenter was traced 35 km southeast of the same town and province.
