UAE gold prices now cheaper by Dh3.50 than last month

The price of different types of gold in the UAE has decreased on Monday, April 15.

Today, the prices of gold have gotten cheaper by Dh3.50 per gram compared to the peak prices in March, which gives buyers an opportunity to score gold at a lower rate.

On March 21, 24K gold was priced at Dh159.75 per gram, but now it has slipped to Dh156.25 per gram, according to today’s rates on Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.

The prices of other types of gold, including 22K, 21K, and 18K, have also slightly dropped and are now at Dh146.75, Dh140.00, and Dh120.00, respectively.

The further decrease in the prices of gold came after the strengthening of the US dollar. However, gold experts, according to a report by Gulf News, said that buyers can take advantage of the low prices now as there is a possibility that it might go up later this week.

The prices vary depending on the purity of gold and the market it is traded in.

Filipinos in the UAE can take advantage of this drop in the prices of gold for investment purposes.
