The Philippine Business Council in Abu Dhabi (PBC-Abu Dhabi) recently held their Inforoom session at the Universal Hospital last March 29 which discussed topics on Reintegration and Business Opportunities.
In attendance was Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana who shared the news that the Dubai Expo 2020 Philippine Pavilion is already in its design phase. PBC Abu Dhabi Chairman Deborah Dayrit also shared a few updates for the Dubai Expo 2020 and added that they have recently sent a letter to President Rodrigo Duterte to appeal for the involvement of the Philippines at the world’s biggest expo that will take place next year.
Guests speaker included Commercial Attache Charmaine Yalong who spoke about the opportunities available for budding entrepreneurs at the Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines. Welfare Officer Ron Bartolome on the other hand, spoke about the reintegration program spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment specifically for OFWs who will be planning to head back home to stay in the country for good.
Around 50 business owners, entrepreneurs, and guests attended the session.
