A fire in a restaurant at Grand Hyatt hotel in Singapore caused the evacuation of about 500 people, Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported, authorities said.
Television footage showed thick black smoke billowing out of the hotel.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the fire was quickly put out.
