A woman (nationality withheld) in UAE, who sold 48 second-hand cars without proper documents, was ordered by the UAE court to pay her victim Dh516,000.
The used vehicles were imported from the U.S.
After paying her more than Dh500,000 for all the 48 cars, the accused failed to turnover the car registrations.
Earlier, the accused made an appeal to the court to only pay half of the amount demanded by the plaintiff.
However, the UAE Federal Court overturned her appeal after finding reasonable grounds for the case filed against her.
The latter said she could not sell the cars even at a lower price.
