The Criminal Court in Ras Al Khaimah heard the case of a young Arab woman who died of heroin overdose given to her by her friends.
The details of the case were brought to light when the police responded to a message about the victim who lost consciousness.
It was later found that the woman consumed a lethal dose of heroin and alcohol that led to her demise.
The authorities were able to rush her to a hospital, but she was pronounced dead moments after.
The first suspect admitted that the narcotics belonged to her husband, who is currently imprisoned for drug abuse.
When she discovered the narcotics in their house, she decided to invite her friends, including the victim, to their house.
She said she warned the victim taking additional amount of drugs, but she insisted on taking them more.
The second defendant admitted to the court that she was there when the incident that killed their friend happened.
She admitted that all of them consumed drugs at the first defendant’s house.
