A male passenger was offloaded from a Dubai-bound flight at the Islamabad International Airport on March 7 after he caused panic among passengers by praying for their plane to crash.

The pilot immediately called for the Airport Security Force to remove the man, who was only identified as Khalil, from the plane.

Local reports said that Khalil started praying loudly for the plane to crash as soon as got into his seat.

Khalil was supposed to be travelling from Islamabad to Australia, with a layover in Dubai.

After the passenger was offloaded from the plane, the flight continued on as scheduled.

It is not clear if the man will be facing any charges or penalties.
