Authorities are now investigating the wreckage of a twin-engine plane that crashed in Central Colombia, killing all 12 people on board.
Initial investigation showed that the pilot of the 30-seater propeller plane informed air traffic controllers about the technical problems before losing contact and crashing in near the town of Villavicencio, about 120km (75 miles) south-east of the capital Bogotá and Taraira.
Aviation authorities have yet to identify the fatalities, which were recovered just hours after the crash.
The Douglas DC-3 aircraft, which was first introduced in the 1930s, reportedly made a forced landing in San Jose del Guaviare town because of poor weather conditions.
