Singer-actress Agot Isidro is not mincing her words amid the issue on Ilocos Norte Governor and senatorial candidate Imee Marcos’ alleged fake statement that she graduated at Princeton University and College of Law of the University of the Philippines.

Taking a swipe at Marcos, Isidro poked fun at the supposed plastic surgery of the governor causing her “hearing impediment”.

She retweeted a report of a GMA News reported with a caption: “Babala: (hindi nagpapatama) Ang sobrang retoke ay nakakabingi. #proof”

Isidro, who is a known critic of the current administration, was referring to the questions thrown by reporters to Marcos who opted not to answer the media about her college degrees in both universities.

This was captured in a video tweeted by senior GMA News reported Dano Tingcungco.

Isidro is an alumna of the University of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Isidro’s reaction received a mixed bag of reactions from netizens.

On March 5, Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte revealed that Marcos is set to issue a statement about the issue.

She reminded that latter that college degree is not a requirement for anyone seeking a senatorial position.

The issue came first to light when The Daily Princetonian, Princeton’s official publication, published a statement from Deputy University Spokesperson Michael Hotchkiss that “Our records do not show that Ms. Marcos was awarded a degree.”
