OFW vacationing in PH shot dead in karaoke bar

A vacationing overseas Filipino worker in the Philippines met his demise when he was shot in a karaoke bar in Infanta, Quezon on March 2.

According to police report, OFW Christopher Espetero and his friends were inside the bar when the suspect identified as Kenneth Avellano approached him and shot him twice using a caliber .22 gun, reported Inquirer.net.

The victim was rushed to Claro M. Recto Memorial District Hospital but died along the way due to the fatal gunshot wound on his chest.

Both the victim and suspect were under the influence of alcohol when they had an argument over a vacant table.

The suspect then shot the victim after his group of friends occupied the table.

The suspect was arrested and detained at the town police jail.
