Flag-carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to roll out another seat sale in celebration of the airline company’s 78th anniversary.
PAL vice president for sales Ryan Uy said that the seat sale will happen from March 1 until March 10 with travel dates from March 16 to Dec. 31, 2019.
One-way base fare for domestic flights starts Php78 and $78 for international destinations.
The airline company has yet to release the details of the sale including the price and destinations covered but said that the event will be “biggest sale of the year” which will cover 30 domestic and 40 international destinations.
PAL added that more than 2 million seats will be offered during the sale.
PAL also warned its passengers against fake promotions offering free tickets for its “78th birthday”.
In a statement, PAL said that the fake advertisement directs passengers to a website – philippineairlines.comflyone.com.
“Vigilance is essential in ensuring that you do not fall prey to these bogus ads,” PAL said.
“Logging on to these sites will compromise or breach the privacy of your personal data,” the airline company added.
PAL said that official announcements, including promos, are posted on their Facebook page, @flyPAL, and their official website, www.philippineairlines.com.
