The Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc. (PASEI) announced that thousands of careers in Poland have opened up for Filipinos workers.

The available jobs are in the manufacturing, fish and meat processing, information technology, and heavy-duty truck driving industry, reported GMA News.

PASEI president Elsa Villa said in an interview with “24 Oras” that most of the obs offered do not even required experience, and the employers will be the one who will provide the training.

“Hindi nga kailangan na kayo ay highly skilled. They need a lot of people, unskilled, that they will assign to manufacturing companies,” Villa was quoted as saying.

She added that workers will also be able to apply for residency and bring their families to Poland after working there for a few years.

“Of course, ikaw ang magbabayad sa expenses ng pagdala ng pamilya mo doon, but especially for young families, I really really recommend this because libre doon ang education. Libre rin ang hospitalization,” she said.

She also said that other European countries such as Croatia and the Czech Republic will also be “opening their doors for skilled and unskilled people.”

Moreover, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) administrator Bernard Olalia reminded job seekers to be cautious when looking for a career abroad. He warned them against fake recruiters and online job advertisements.

“If you plan to be deployed by our government through government placement, dito lang po kayo sa POEA makipag-usap,” he said.
