Man dies, mother and daughter sustain injuries in Sharjah attack

Authorities are now investigating the incident which took place in a building in Al Butina area, Sharjah which took the life of a 46-year-old Sudanese man and left a 33-year-old Indian woman and her daughter injured.

A police team immediately went to the scene of the crime after receiving a phone call. Upon arriving, they found the woman and her daughter bleeding while the Sudanese man was already lifeless, reported Khaleej Times.

Another Sudanese man who was wielding a knife surrendered to the authorities afterwards, but the cause of the murder and assault remains unknown.

The woman was taken to Al Kuwaiti hospital and her daughter was rushed to Al Qasimi hospital, while the man’s body was transferred to the forensic department for autopsy.

The police have launched an investigation to know the suspects and cause of the incident.

The police are waiting for the woman to recover for her to give her statement. However, they are suspecting that the Sudanese man who surrendered himself is the one behind the crime since his finger prints are on the knife.
