The Dubai Court of First Instance denied the appeal of the Filipino man who was convicted of groping his Indian workmate.
The 40-year-old Indian masseuse said she was talking to her workmates outside the spa after their duty when her 29-year-old Filipino workmate hugged her from behind and groped her, reported Gulf News.
The Indian woman immediately complained to the police.
While the Filipino man pleaded not guilty, another workmate testified against him saying the Indian woman’s claims are true.
“He [the Filipino man] slid his hands under her arms and groped her,” their workmate said.
The Filipino man was charged with groping the Indian woman.
The decision can still be appealed before the Cassation Court.
