An Egyptian cleaner stands trial in Dubai for allegedly groping a Filipina inside her bedroom.
According to the Filipina, she woke up after feeling a hand touching her in November, reported Gulf News.
The Filipina yelled after seeing the Egyptian cleaner kneeling in front of her and groping her.
The Egyptian cleaner then ran out of the room after the Filipina’s roommates were awakened.
The police immediately arrived at the scene and arrested the cleaner.
Before the Dubai Court of First Instance, the cleaner admitted to drinking alcohol that day but pleaded not guilty of groping the woman.
The court decision will be released on December 27.
