DFA keeps an eye on Pinoys in Brazil, France after random shooting

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said they are keeping a close watch to find out if Pinoys are among those who were shot in a random shooting incidents in a cathedral in São Paulo, Brazil.

According to DZBB Super Radyo, five people were killed and at least four were seriously injured on Tuesday, when an unidentified man suddenly entered a cathedral in a mid-day mass and started to open fire. The man shot himself at the altar and died.

In a report by GMA, the four injured were elderlies, and that the shooter used two guns when he opened fire in a congregation in Campinas, an inudstrial city 100 kilometers northwest of São Paulo.

Agence France-Presse stated that four people are now dead and at least 12 were injured when a random gunman started shooting aimlessly at a busy Christmas market in Strasbourg, eastern France on Tuesday.
