An overseas Filipino worker in Kuwait met her untimely death after she reportedly fell from her employer’s residence on Tuesday.
According to a Manila Bulletin article by Roy Mabasa, authorities are now investigating the death of the said OFW who hailed from Isabela, as confirmed by the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait.
Charge d’Affaires Noordin Lomondot said that the Filipina domestic helper fell from the third floor of her employer’s residence in Sabahiya. It was not mentioned if the incident was an accident or not.
The Philippine government will also be providing assistance to the family of the OFW. They will also be assisting in the repatriation of the remains of the victim.
The Department of Foreign Affairs did not disclose the identity of the OFW as they are still notifying the family of the victim about the incident.
