A mother faces a seven-year jail term for brutally killing her 14-month-old son in Dubai.
According to the public prosecution, the boy succumbed to severe internal bleeding in the abdomen caused by strong pressing, reported Khaleej Times.
Prior to the infant’s death, a number of doctors claimed to prosecutors that the boy was hospitalized for multiple times. He was only 33 days old when he was first confined in the hospital, where it was found that the baby had involuntary muscle spans and brain hemorrhage.
He got hospitalized again with severe diarrhea and was vomiting incessantly.
For the third time, he was hospitalized with a broken thigh bone and a fractured skull.
The baby’s life had ended at the hands of his mother who pressed his abdomen until he bled internally.
