Soon-to-be married couple included in Indonesia plane crash

With a new and bright life ahead of them, a soon-to-be-married couple was supposed to live happily ever after until the bride and groom to-be encountered a tragic occurrence no one saw coming.

They were among the 189 people who crashed right into the sea minutes after their passenger flightLion Air Flight JT 610took off from the ground.

A distressed family member named Feni told Associated Press that her soon-to-be-married sister was on the flight.

“We are here to find any information about my younger sister, her fiance, her in-law to be and a friend of them,” said Feni as she and relatives of other flight passengers gather at the Pangkal Pinang airport.

The couple was headed to Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia to meet their relatives.

Family members of the passengers have flocked the airport where the plane took off. Other relatives also headed to the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency in Jakarta to get updates, but to no avail.

“We don’t have any information. No one provided us with any information that we need. We’re confused. We hope that our family is still alive,” Feni adds.

The passenger of the plane lost contact with the ground control and it was last tracked crossing the sea.

The airline’s chief executive Edward Sirait said that they cannot release a statement regarding the incident yet as they are still in the process of collecting information and data.
