Sharjah Police Department lauded an honest man who returned the Dh100,000 cash he found unattended in Sharjah, UAE.
The man, identified as Surra Doyle, was honored by Brigadier General Dr. Khalifa Kalender, Director of the Sharjah Police Police Department to recognize his cooperation and active contribution in handing over to the police the large sum of money he found.
On an Instagram post, Sharjah Police said they are “keen to honor the collaborators in appreciation of their sincere efforts in the service of the community, where their behavior reflects a high moral approach is a model to follow.”
According to the post, the man of Indian nationality found the money in a remote area in Sharjah.
An individual in the UAE can already buy an affordable luxury vehicle, afford school education for kids, or start a small business with Dh100,000 (or about 1,457,965.91 in Philippine Peso).
