Thousands of Filipinos grab deals on gadgets at GITEX Shopper 2018

GITEX Shopper 2018 saw thousands of Filipinos and other expats as they rushed to grab limited-time offers and flash sales on over 35,000 products such as mobile phones, laptops, cameras, gaming consoles, and more which was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre for five days, from October 2 to October 6, 2018.

The annual gadget fiesta saw great deals on huge brands such as Nikon, Samsung, Huawei, Dell, MSI, Honor, as well as from local electronics providers like Jacky’s Electronics, Jumbo Electronics, SharafDG, EMax, and more.

The event also featured an innovative way for visitors to pay for their purchases during the largest electronics exhibition via the payit booth. ‘payit’ is a fully-featured digital wallet platform created by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) that is available to anyone with a valid Emirates ID.

Shoppers also tried their luck to win freebies at the booth of The Filipino Times during the 5-day exhibition. Emirati Influencer Khalid Al Ameri was also seen enjoying the games at the TFT booth.
