RTA introduces virtual assistant ‘Mahboub’ to guide UAE residents and tourists on transport info

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has just introduced their new virtual assistant named ‘Mahboub’ ready to answer queries from the metro timings, booking taxis, and even provides a step by step process to renew your driver’s license and vehicle license!

‘Mahboub’, an Arabic name which means ‘loved’ or ‘adored’, is able to communicate either in English or Arabic. The virtual assistant gives instant replies to any questions relating to the metro, taxis, ferry, Nol card, public transportation, driver’s and vehicle licenses, parking, and more.

The virtual assistant is accessible via the RTA.ae homepage – just click “Chat with us” and the chat session will begin with ‘Mahboub’ asking you about your name, mobile number, and email address.
