Two Saudi Arabian nationals are facing each other at the Dubai Court of First Instance over a case of sexual harassment.
The defendant, a 27-year-old employee of a hotel in Dubai, was accused of groping a female tourist in the elevator of the hotel, reported Khaleej Times. He denied the charge and said it was not intentional.
The woman said in her complaint that the hotel employee groped her and touched her hand before she exited the elevator. She claimed that the man followed her from the lobby to the elevator and ran away when he heard her calling her husband.
A surveillance video of the incident was also submitted as evidence. The case will be deliberated on October 16.
