An expatriate working in an airport lounge in Dubai was arrested for stealing two wine bottles on Monday, September 24.
The 29-year-old suspect was serving food and beverages when he found two empty water bottles.
He brought the water bottles and filled them with wine from the airport’s supply. The suspect hid the bottles in his pocket and tried to smuggle them out of the airport by attaching the bottles to his legs with a tape.
The employee had confessed to his crime and said that he intended to drink the wine at home, reported Al Khaleej.
