Thousands of OFWs and expats eagerly await the upcoming The Color Run presented by Daman happening this November 10 at the Dubai Astrodome. This year, the Happiest 5K on the planet brings out more features as ‘The Color Run Hero Tour’ will be spreading cheers and smiles in Dubai and the UAE.
Hero Tour
The concept of this year’s Color Run was renamed as ‘The Color Run Hero Tour’ as participants unleash the superheroes within themselves and celebrate life together with thousands of their fellow superheroes who are now based here in the UAE. IMG Middle East Managing Director Greg Sproule attributes the rebrand to take this year’s runners in a whole new dimension of fun and enjoyment: “This year, we are going to take Color Runners to a world where anything is possible and inspire our young and adult participants to turn their superpowers to reality as The Color Run Hero Tour comes to Dubai.”
Color Zones
The highlight of The Color Run where it gets its namesake, runners and participants of all ages will dash through several Color Zones. They will encounter shades of reds, blues, oranges, greens, pinks, and a whole lot more colors that you can think of! The best part? The color powder used at The Color Run event is all certified non-toxic and free of any heavy metals, making it super safe for everyone.
Foam Zone
Ever thought of that ‘bubble bath’ you had when you were still a kid? You can now enjoy that same thrill with The Color Run’s Foam Zone as bursts of soapy goodness spread out in the Foam Zone. The area will seem like it’s raining bubbles from above as they land everywhere – on your head, your shirt and to your fellow runners too!
Super Zone
Bringing in more fun during The Color Run Hero Tour’s 5k marathon is the Super Zone where participants can flash their best superhero moves and soar! Jump as high as you can and give yourself that adrenaline thrill with each jump and pose you make at this exhilarating zone!
Honor Photo Zone
No event is complete without capturing that perfect moment that you and your family and/or friends will share together at The Color Run. With the all-new Honor Photo Zone, you’ll be sure to keep those precious memories of enjoying each and every happy moment.
Finish Festival
Immediately after the marathon, all participants can proceed to The Color Run Hero Tour’s Finish Festival which will be a place to party on and dance to the rhythm of the beats as everyone will be celebrating in high spirits with exciting performances, danceable pop tunes and a whole lot more color powder spread throughout the vicinity!
The Hero Tour comes with a brand new participant kit, including a limited-edition Hero Tour race shirt, badge, tattoo, welcome card and a Hero Cape! Deluxe Runners will receive all of this plus specially created Hero Tour items including wristband, socks, sunglasses and a drawstring bag, as well as VIP Parking!
