Wife charged in court for accessing sleeping husband’s phone

A woman from Ras al-Khaimah was charged with invading her husband’s privacy after she transferred photos and conversations from his phone and sent it to herself for her brothers to see.

The husband filed a complaint with the police when he found out that his wife accesses his phone while he sleeps and gets copies of his pictures and conversations with other people.

The wife denied the accusation during the preliminary investigations. She also claimed that her husband granted her access to his phone to reassure her because she had caught him cheating before.

They were referred to Public Prosecution for the necessary legal proceedings. The Court of misdemeanors in Ras al-Khaimah will deliberate on September 26, reported Araa News.
