WestZone opens new branch, to welcome customers with free hampers

DUBAI: WestZone, one of the largest supermarket chains in the UAE is set to open their doors tomorrow Sept. 20, at their newest location in Al Muteena, near the Salah Al Din Metro Station in Deira, bringing their goods closer to where the Filipinos are.

“Mamimigay ang WestZone ng libreng hamper para sa unang 100 na Pilipino na bibili ng halagang Dh50 sa pagbubukas ng WestZone Salah Al Din bukas, September 20 kaya pumila na ng maaga ka-TFT at mag grocery!” the company said in an announcement.

WestZone products come from all over the world, including the Philippines. This makes Filipinos miss home a whole lot less as the items they’re accustomed to back home are available to them. The WestZone Procurement team said Filipinos come to WestZone to search for the most popular items they love. “From A to Z, we have all the FIlipino brands and Filipino items. It’s a one stop shop for the Filipinos,” said the WestZone announcement.

“Ang Deira ay isa sa mga lugar sa Dubai na may mga pinakamaraming naninirahang Pinoy. Ang pagbubukas ng isang bago and mas malaking supermarket na may mga brands na kilalang kilala ng mga Pinoy tiyak na makakatulong para makatipid sila sa gastos and sa oras ng pamimili,” the company management said.

The huge supermarket chain is also known to provide an assortment of high quality goods at prices that OFWs can afford such as their deals on vegetables, meats, seafood, baked goods, cooked meals, and their various grocery items for daily usage. The announcement furthers: “Filipinos love to shop for all the major brands like Lemon Square, Century, Pure Foods etc as well as their favorite Filipino vegetables and other goods.”

WestZone said they look forward to welcoming their customers to have them served at Salah Al Din. “At WestZone, we believe in delighting all of our customers of various nationalities, most especially Filipinos, as we provide them with affordable grocery options at places near to their homes. We look forward to welcome everyone in our newest location at Salah Al Din,” said the announcement.
