The three fighters, together with their coaches and promoters, went to the Philippine Embassy for a courtesy call with Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Hjayceelyn Quintana. “Kami ay natutuwa na nandito ang ating mga kababayan para magparticipate dito sa sporting event na ito. This is part of our people to people diplomacy to make sure that our Emirati friends know that we are one with them in terms of promoting solidarity through sports. We’re very proud that they’re representing the Philippines here and hopefully we can also mobilize our people to see the event on Friday.” said Quintana.
