NAIA-Ortigas-NAIA P2P buses roll out

Premium bus operator UBE Express’ point-to-point (P2P) buses, which will take passengers from Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City to all terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and vice versa, has started its operations.

With the new fleet of buses, those coming from the Pasig City, San Juan City, several municipalities of Rizal, and southern part of Quezon City, can now go to and from NAIA through Robinsons Galleria with ease.

Daily trips from Galleria to NAIA run from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. while each seat costs Php70, reported Inquirer.

All P2P buses are air-conditioned, equipped with global positioning system (GPS) technology and Wi-Fi connection, has Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, and easy access to persons with disabilities.

Each bus can also carry up to 40 passengers.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) also welcomed the new P2P route.

Robinsons Galleria as strategic site

President of UBE Express, Garrie David, deemed Robinsons Galleria as a strategic location for a new P2P route to and from the airport.

David added that P2P buses were established to promote less vehicles on road as each bus can carry multiple passengers at a cheap price.

David said that UBE Express will serve about 30,000 passengers on a daily basis.
