The retail prices of gold in the UAE continue to drop and are now cheaper by Dh6 per gram compared to its peak rate last month.
A week ago, 24K, 22K, 21K, and 18K gold were priced at around Dh147.00, Dh138.00, Dh131.75, and Dh113.00, respectively.
Now, based on the latest updates of Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, 24K gold is currently priced at Dh146.25, which is lower by Dh6.25 compared to the Dh152.50 retail gold prices of 24K gold in July.
Other types of gold, such as 22K, 21K, and 18K, also dropped by Dh0.50 compared to its rates yesterday and are now valued at Dh137.75, Dh131.50, and Dh112.75, respectively.
The prices vary depending on the purity of gold and the market it was traded in.
