WATCH: Woman throws away cash worth millions on road as charity work

A woman in South Korea was seen throwing away cash on a street while inside her vehicle as an act of “charity work.”

In a dashcam video, a person was seen inside a moving vehicle randomly throwing away banknotes on the streets of Daegu in South Korea, reported The Indian Express citing a report from Yonhap News.

Upon police investigation, it was revealed that the person throwing the banknotes was a woman who decided to drive around 11 different areas and dump her money as a form of charity work.

Unfortunately for people who saw the incident unfold, taking money found on streets is a crime in Korea so they returned the money to the authorities.

It was revealed that the discarded banknotes totaled to ₩15.8 million (Php748,336; Dh51,476) which were picked up from different places including streets and parking lots.

The police has contacted the woman to retrieve the cash.
