The third State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte which happened last July 23 at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City became an opportunity for his entire family to get together.
All the children of President Duterte, as well as his former wife and common-law partner, attended his the SONA this year before the Congress to extend their support to the chief executive.
Presidential daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio took to her social media account to share a family photo showing the president seated next to his former wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, with their three children standing behind them.
The younger Duterte simply captioned the photo with a heart emoji.
Duterte and Zimmerman were blessed with three children, namely Davao City Mayor Sara, former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, and Sebastian.
The two separated in 1998 and their marriage was annulled two years later.
Meanwhile, Duterte’s current partner Cielito Avancena was also present during the SONA with her daughter and President Duterte’s youngest child Veronica “Kitty” Duterte.
